Travel Day 41

After a great stay in Montreal we bid farewell to Mike and Eva who were flying out of Montreal and it was time for Maria and I to head west to Sainte Anne De Bellevue which was only 10 miles away. We had made plans with our new friends Peter and Rachel, who would be traveling with us for a couple weeks on there Bayliner 4788, to meet us on the following day.

Maria and I stayed the night on the lock wall in the quaint little town. It was raining most of the day and there were very few tourists in town. It was a Monday so as we’ve been used to most of the restaurants and shops were closed. We did however visit the Restaurant Cape Cod for some fish and chips.. Then a stroll down the avenue for ice cream. We did a little provisioning at a small market and then settled in for a quiet night awaiting our trip up the Ottawa River in the morning.
