We had stayed our 2 nights at Fenelon Falls so it was time to move on. The weather was terrible with high winds and rain so we traveled 3miles to the Rosedale Lock at Dewey’s Island and decided to tie up for the day. The lock wall was quiet with no power or water. We took a walk down the road adjoining the lock and canal and stopped in a small gas station market. The homes along the canal were separated from the canal by the dead end road but they all had chairs and fire pits located on the banks of the canal. so they could watch the passing boats. It was dinner on the boat and an early turn in hoping for great weather tomorrow.
